Can mineral nutrients be limiting factors to organic agriculture expansion?

The debate on whether Organic Agriculture can feed the world is highly controversial. Currently most studies have focused on the relative productivity of organic vs conventional farming at the crop level, without taking into consideration nutrient availability. Our main objective is to assess the supply of organic products under scenarios of dramatic organic agriculture expansion under a constraint of nutrients availability.
